First-year student applicants who meet the requirements for ASU first-year student admission and who meet one of the following four criteria may be directly admitted to the W. P. Carey School of Business Bachelor of Science degree programs:

If you do not meet the requirements for direct admission to a W. P. Carey degree program, you may submit an Admissions Portfoliofor review. Please note, this is a competitive process and admission is not guaranteed. We highly recommend all applicants to consult W. P. Carey academic advisors or admissions coordinators to inquire about changing majors through the direct admission requirements before submitting admissions portfolio.
Students are only allowed a maximum of two denied attempts per Admissions Portfolio and Concurrent Degree Request. All Admissions Portfolio/Concurrent Degree Request decisions are final and applicants will be notified via email.

Applications are evaluated on a rolling basis and it can take up to 96 hours for a decision to be made. Please note, portfolios and concurrent degree requests will not be processed during the last week of December. All decisions will be communicated through ASU e-mail on file. Please work with your Academic Advisor to determine the best time to submit your application.
